Habit : An annual herb.

Habitat and Distribution : Common, upto 900m. India, Pakistan, East Indies, Madagascar, Tropical and southwest Africa.

Indigenous Information : Fodder plant.

Other relevent information : Mammals disperse the bristly seeds which stick to their fur.
