Habit : A slender perennial herb, branched at base.

Habitat and Distribution : Widespread and abundant weed especially where soil has been disturbed. Plains from the coast to 1000m. Native of central America , now widespread, throughout  tropical and subtropical regions of the world.

Other relevent information : Flowers attractive to butterflies and bees.
