Habit : A pubescent villous shrub.

Habitat and Distribution : Gregarious in wastelands, fallow fields even in poor soils. Plains from the coast to 750(1000)m. Himalaya, India, Burma and Malaysia.

Indigenous Information : The bark of the roots are chewed to cure stomach ache. Plant used for mulching.
