Habit : A moderate sized deciduous tree.

Habitat and Distribution : Common. Foothills to 1400 m. Indian Subcontinent.

Other relevent information : Seeds contains Strychnine and collected for export and trade.

Field Tips : Bark thin and dark grey. Flowers and fruits smell like Fenugreek. New foliage - February. Leaf fall - December.
