Habit : A small shrub.

Habitat and Distribution : Common in plains (stream banks, fallow fields etc.) weed in cultivation areas, disturbed lands. Upto 1400m. Widespread.

Indigenous Information : Cattle graze on the plant.

Other relevent information : Flowers attract butterflies. Food plant of Death's Head Hawkmoth.

Field Tips : Branchlets 4-angular. Leaves glabrous, shiny on both sides.
