Habitat and Distribution : Occasional in rock crevices by ravines, Forest border, on hills 600-1400m. Peninsular India.

Field Tips : Bark peels off easily. Petioles sheathing.

A drupe, globose, 5-6 angular, orange when ripe. Seeds laterally compressed. Fruiting from May-June.
