Habit : A medium sized deciduous tree.
Habitat and Distribution : Occasional on hills in the deciduous belt. Up to 1000m in full sun. Peninsular India to West Pakistan.
Field Tips : Bark fissured to 10cm deep, corky grey. Leaf fall January. New foliage April.
