Habit : A densely branched armed shrub.
Habitat and Distribution : Common from the coast, in scrub jungle, upto 1000m.Sri Lanka, southeast Asia, Malaysia to north Queensland.
Field Tips : Thorns straight, bearing leaves and flowers. Wood light reddish brown.
