Habit : A small tree.
Habitat and Distribution : Less common on the slopes, in thickets or by the shola borders. Hills above 800m. Lower Himalayas, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia.
Field Tips : Bark thin, reddish-brown, lenticellate. Wood brownish-white, soft.
